How is a mortgage payment calculated?
With the French amortization system: from the capital, the interest rate and the term, a fixed monthly payment is obtained that combines interest and capital amortization.
What happens if the Euribor rises in a variable mortgage?
In a variable mortgage, when the rate is reviewed (normally every 6 or 12 months) the payment goes up or down according to the Euribor plus the agreed differential. Simulate different types to see the impact.
How much can I pay for a mortgage based on my salary?
As a general rule, the fee should not exceed 30-35% of your monthly net income. Adjust the amount until the fee fits within that limit.
